“A very meaningful part of my experience [at HeartLight Center] was the compassion and support provided by other group members that had experienced similar losses. It gave me hope that I could get through my personal despair.”

HeartLight Center Story

Our compassionate community of fellow grievers and expert professionals are here to welcome you, no matter where you are on your journey. HeartLight Center started as a dream of creating a safe place for grievers to feel seen, heard and understood after a death loss. We understand there's no one-size-fits-all solution, we just want to hear your story and offer our support.

What you can expect from HeartLight:

We believe that you will know what support for you feels right because you know you best.

We believe that grief is a normal, human experience and does not have a timeline.

You will be accepted into our programs regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, economic status, and any other diverse background.

Groups and programs offered with HeartLight are compassionate and supportive, with the goal of providing a safe place for your grief, as it relates to death loss.

We provide guidance and support without advice giving or "fixing".

Groups are consistent with knowledgeable facilitators who will lead groups in a structured format to ensure the best possible experience for all who attend.

“A month after my husband died, I found the HeartLight Center and knew I found my lifeline: the place, the people who would help me through the unknown passageway of grief. What a relief to connect with others who know what you are going through, to learn from each other, and to be given information and tools that enable a person to live life again in a new and meaningful way."
