Camp Erin® Denver is a free bereavement camp for youth who are grieving the death of a significant person in their lives.  This year, children and teens ages 6 to 17 can attend a one-day camp experience that combines grief education and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities.  Led by bereavement professionals and caring volunteers, campers are provided a safe environment to explore their grief,  learn essential coping skills and make friends with peers who are also grieving.   This year’s camp is scheduled for Saturday, August 7, at Shwayder Camp located outside Idaho Springs.  It will be held in conjunction with Next PAGE, a camp for adult caregivers of grieving children.  Additional information and applications for campers and volunteers is available at shimmeringwings.org.
