In-Person Grief Support Groups
Heart Light Center kindly requests that you register for in-person groups prior to attendance. Online registration will close 24-hours prior to group. If you are unable to register in advance and would still like to attend, you may register at the door. Please contact us at info@heartlightcenter.org with questions or for more information.
With regards to COVID precautions:
*HeartLight Center is committed to ensuring a safe environment and will follow all state and local guidelines related to COVID-19.
*If you are unvaccinated it is encouraged to continue to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth and maintain social distancing.
*If you have been exposed to anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or have any symptoms of illness, we invite you to join our programs virtually.
*At this time, in-person groups will be capped at 15 participants.
Men’s Loss of Spouse/Partner Group
A peer support group dedicated to addressing the unique issues encountered by men who have experienced the death of a spouse, partner, or significant other. Meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7pm (MST). This is a “hybrid” group, there is ability to attend virtually by Zoom or in-person at HeartLight Center (11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver, CO 80014), when you register you can indicate your preference.
5+ Year Loss of Spouse/Partner Group (NEW!)
An ongoing support group for people who have experienced the death of a spouse, partner or significant other, five or more years ago. Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 7pm (MST) at HeartLight Center (11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver, CO 80014).
Loss of a Parent(s) Support Group
An ongoing support group for those who have experienced the death of a parent(s). This group meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm (MST) at HeartLight Center (11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver, CO 80014).
Loss of Spouse/Partner Support Group
An ongoing support and educational group for people who have experienced the death of a spouse, partner or significant other. If your loss is recent or years ago, you are welcome to spend an evening with others who are on a similar journey. Meets the 2nd Wednesday at 4pm and 4th Wednesday at 7pm monthly at HeartLight Center (11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver, CO 80014).
Young Loss of Spouse/Partner Support Group (6+ months)
An ongoing peer support group for adults 45 and under who have lost a spouse, partner or significant other who are 6 months or more post loss. This group focuses on topical and small group discussions. This group meets the 1st Thursday of the month at 7pm monthly at Highlands Church
(1700 S. Grant Street, Denver, CO 80210).
Young Loss of Spouse/Partner Support Group (no timeline)
An ongoing peer support group for men and women 45 and under who have lost a spouse, partner or significant other recently or years ago. This group typically meets the 3rd Friday of the month at 6pm (MST) at HeartLight Center (11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver, CO 80014).
