The Body In Grief Mindfulness Workshop Feb 22 2025 – virtual
Grief doesn’t require words. It’s the physical sensation interwoven with emotional states that inform us when our grief is present, severe, or subsiding. Yet we’re given few tools for understanding how grief actually feels in our body, and how we can bear those sensations on a daily or hourly basis.
This experiential workshop will show you how to gently hold space for uncomfortable physical states, how to prevent discomfort from leading to worst-case thinking, and how to regain a sense of safety in your skin. These mindfulness techniques are a wonderful complement to other support tools, such as talk therapy and movement therapy, for improving mind-body wellness during grief.
